Refund Policy

1. Free tiers

The Anonymous and Free account tiers have no charge. There is nothing to refund for free usage.

2. Paid subscriptions and 7-day money-back guarantee

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on new paid subscriptions, whether monthly or yearly. If you are not satisfied with your first paid purchase, contact us within 7 days of the initial purchase date and we will issue a full refund.

This guarantee applies to the first paid purchase only. It does not apply to renewals or to accounts that have already received a refund.

3. Renewals

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. Renewal charges are generally not refundable unless there was a billing error by us or by Paddle, our payment processor and Merchant of Record. To avoid the next charge, cancel before the renewal date.

4. How to cancel

You can cancel your paid subscription at any time:

  1. Go to your Account page.
  2. Click Manage subscription in the plan section.
  3. Follow the steps in the Paddle subscription portal.

After cancellation, paid access continues until the end of the current billing period. Once the period ends, your account returns to the Free account tier with 10 checks per day and up to 1,000 characters per check.

5. How to request a refund

To request a refund within the 7-day window, email support@englishgrammarfixer.com with the subject line Refund request and include:

  • The email address on your account.
  • The purchase date.
  • A brief reason, if you want to share one.

We review refund requests within 3 business days and process approved refunds through Paddle. Refunds are sent back to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement.

6. Exceptions

We may decline a refund if we detect abuse of the refund policy, including repeated subscribe-and-refund behavior. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the payment or refund process.
