1. Overview

EnglishGrammarFixer is an AI-powered writing assistant. We offer free access for guests and registered users, along with paid Student, Standard, and Business plans.

2. Data we collect

a) Anonymous visitors

When you use our tools without an account, we receive limited technical data such as your IP address for rate limiting, browser type, device type, approximate location, referring page, and pages viewed. Guest usage is limited to 5 checks per day.

b) Free accounts

When you create a free account we collect your email address and a hashed password. We also store a daily usage counter so we can enforce and display the 10-check daily quota for free accounts.

c) Paid subscribers

When you upgrade to a paid plan we store subscription status, customer ID, subscription ID, price ID, plan type, and expiry date provided by our payment processor. We do not store your card number or sensitive billing details.

d) Tool input text

Text you submit to our tools is sent to OpenAI for processing. We do not store the content of your submissions as part of routine product usage.
